\nThe aim of a mixdown is to balance the level of each track so they work seamlessly together, creating a cohesive soundscape and a better listening experience.\n<\/p>

\nThis is done with a mixing desk, a digital audio workstation (DAW) or a combination of both. The mixing engineer adjusts levels, panning, EQ, compression and other effects to balance all the elements.\n<\/p>

\nMixdown can also involve creating a stereo or surround mix, adjusting the balance and placement of sounds to create a sense of space and depth.\n<\/p>

\nOnce the mixdown is complete, the final mix can be mastered to prepare it for distribution or release.\n<\/p>
