Music Production at Schraubfabrik
Recording, Editing, Publishing
Music production is the process of recording, editing and releasing music.
It includes recording music with microphones or instruments, either in a studio or on location; editing, mixing and mixdown using audio software such as Cubase; combining recordings into a final product or remix; and releasing music on CD, streaming services or radio.
The music producer organises and leads the recording process, selects musicians and makes decisions about instrumentation, arrangements and mixing.
A music producer may also help develop an artist’s career and ensure that the finished product meets the expectations of both the artist and the label.
Songwriting Camps
We have regularly hosted songwriting camps in recent years. Well-known artists, topliners and composers have worked here with musicians and gold- and platinum-selling producers from our extensive network. Participants have included Roland Kaiser, Tom Beck, Jonathan Zelter, Marie Wegener, Jona Bird, Nevio, Basti Becks, David Neisser, Luis Baltes, Linda Stark, Diane Weigmann, Antonio Berardi, Jessica Kessler, Markus Becker, Florian Brückl, Dirk Schlag (Santiano), Julian David, Kiki Kröning, Paul Falk, Stephan Ullmann, Daniel Wilde, and our partner and music publisher Michael Menges, to name just a few.
Publishers and record labels can email us for studio and equipment hire rates. Our team handles the arrangements internally. Up to four fully equipped production rooms are available, with everything a musician could need. Hotels and Airbnb accommodation are available nearby.
