Vocal Recording in the Studio
Vocal recordings in a recording studio require care and attention to achieve professional, high-quality results. A good vocal microphone and an acoustically treated room are key factors. After recording, the vocal takes can be edited and assembled to create a polished performance.
Recording vocals with a backing track
You can book a two-hour session. Please arrive well prepared and know your lyrics inside out.
We record several vocal takes using a high-quality recording chain with a Neumann microphone, Focusrite preamps or various valve preamps, then edit the best parts into one strong performance. We enhance the recording with tasteful reverb, delay and other effects, and mix it with the backing track. The result can be burned to an audio CD or rendered as an MP3 to take home immediately.
A straightforward studio vocal recording
You already have a backing track, beat or a piece of music recorded in a studio and simply want to sing over it. The microphone recording is then processed to blend naturally and harmoniously with the music.
We then mix and master your song and save it to a USB stick, burn it to a CD or provide an MP3 download. For a professional result, we need around two to three hours.
You can also take the unedited raw recordings away or have them sent to another producer. In that case, you only pay for the studio time used.

Recording vocals without a backing track
If no instrumental backing track exists for your song, we can create one. There are several options, so please request an individual quote. If needed, our professional session musicians can record the complete song with all instruments. Musicians' hourly rates range from €50 to €100 excl. VAT. In our experience, the process can be very quick when sheet music is available or the song is well known. You do not always need the full original instrumentation. Why not sing a U2 song accompanied only by piano? There are plenty of examples on YouTube. We can create high-quality, high-resolution backing tracks and karaoke versions to order, avoiding rough MP3 sound and making them easier to blend with your vocal recording.
